Individual Work

A safe and private place to understand what is happening and decide what comes next.

People begin individual therapy for many reasons. You might feel anxious, angry, discouraged, emotionally numb, caught in an unhealthy habit, or uncertain about a relationship or transition. You may simply know that the way you have been coping is no longer working.

Therapy can help you slow the pattern down, understand what keeps it going, and practice responses that better reflect your values and goals.

We may work on

  • Recognizing emotional and behavioral patterns
  • Managing anxiety, anger, stress, or low mood
  • Changing substance-use or other compulsive behaviors
  • Processing loss, trauma, or life transitions
  • Strengthening boundaries, communication, and relationships
  • Clarifying identity, purpose, values, and next steps

What to expect

We will begin by clarifying your concerns, history, strengths, and goals. From there, we will develop a focused plan and review progress together. My approach may draw from cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, solution-focused therapy, and other clinically appropriate methods.

If Christian integration matters to you, tell me. Biblical counseling is available by request. If it does not, therapy will remain respectful of your beliefs and preferences.
